About
Fifty-eight years old.
Four years across Europe.
I'm Oliver. 58 years old, based in Saarland, Germany.
In May 2026 I started a four-year build toward the Transcontinental Race 2030. This site documents that build: training, kit, rides, doubts, data, the lot. Honestly.
The race is a ~4000 km self-supported ride across Europe, ridden in roughly two weeks. The route changes each year. The qualification standard is high enough that most applicants don't get in.
Four years should be enough. We'll see.
The handle "onepedalstroke" is the practice the whole project reduces to. Long rides are not made of grand efforts. They are made of single, repeated pedal strokes, sustained over time. So is anything else worth doing.
